avocado and cumin dip appetizer

Select nice and ripe avocados.

Peel and cut coarsely.
Remove the pit.
Clean the pit thoroughly, and set aside.

Squeeze the juice of
One orange and
One lime.

In a blender or small food processor,
Place
The avocado,
Half the squeezed orange juice,
Half the squeezed lime juice,
A nice pinch of ground cumin,
A drizzle of olive oil, and
A pinch of salt.
Blend.
Taste.
Adjust the balance of flavors to taste.

Present in a pretty bowl.
Set the avocado pit
On top of the cream,
Not only as a decoration, but
Rather to prevent the cream from
Turning black.

the possibilities are endless with:
. chicken stock
. diced spring onions
. cubed tomatoes
. a touch of red pepper

Or both at the same time!

Also as an appetizer:
Serve with a raw langoustine, prawn or lobsterette
Simply placed atop the avocado cream.
