Cut both ends of the orange.
“Stand” the orange on a cutting board.
Take a sharp knife, and
Run it on the fruit from top to bottom
To remove the skin and the pith of the orange.
Once the orange is “naked,”
Hold it in one hand. Using the knife with the other hand,
Separate the segments
Over a bowl, and
Save the juice that drips for later use.
- Evidently, this method is the same with any other citrus fruit!
